2013

Kiki Mordi, born Nkiru Mordi is a multi award winning investigative journalist, a radio presenter and filmmaker. She has worked in various capacities as presenter, writer, voice over artiste, filmmaker, reporter and an advocate for gender equality.

She started her career in 2013 as a student broadcaster in Rhythm FM Benin City after dropping out of University. Shortly after she became Benin city’s radio darling bagging multiple awards as the midday show host in KU FM Benin.

2015

Shortly after she became Benin city’s radio darling bagging multiple awards as the midday show host in KU FM Benin.

In 2017, she became the Head of Presenting at Women Radio 91.7 n Lagos, Nigeria’s first radio station dedicated to women and their families. During her time at women radio, she played host to some of the finest women in leadership on the critical acclaimed “Woman Agenda” radio programme in partnership with the Mac Arthur Foundation that addresses the intersectionality of Gender and Corruption in Nigeria.

2019

Kiki is the founder of the #DocumentWomen movement that aims at tackling the erasure of women and women’s stories and produced a documentary entitled “Life At The Bay” that documented the lives of women living in the remote island, Tarkwa Bay. The film has since been selected for Real Time International Film Festival, Lift Off Global Network and Africa International Film Festival. And counting.

2020

In her 2019 explosive work with BBC Africa Eye, she uncovers sexual harassment in West African Schools in the investigative film titled Sex For Grades“.
